Local Police Departments Present: No Shave November
Every November, multiple local police forces come together to grow shaggy faces to raise awareness for childhood cancer and help NICK families. Support your favorite local police department as they ditch their razors to help local families battling childhood cancer.
Harmony Handbells Presents: Carol of the Bells Christmas Concert
Every year, local handbell group Harmony Handbells bring together talented local musicians, choirs, and other handbell groups to raise much needed funds and awareness for the NICK Foundation at this heartfelt event. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Jonathon Milstead Memorial Scholarship, one of the many NICK services offered to our college students in treatment. Linda and Dale Haddix are Jonathon’s proud parents and coordinate this beautiful event every year.
NICK Presents: Mark Hill Memorial Golf Outing
Every first Friday in June, the NICK Foundation partners with the Hill Family to host the Annual Mark Hill Memorial Golf Outing at Whitehawk Country Club in Crown Point, Indiana. This event honors Mark’s amazing life, support for the NICK Foundation, and brave two year battle with stomach cancer.

Crown Point Swim Club Presents: 11th Annual Tim Hamelin Memorial Swim Invitational
Tim Hamelin was a fixture as a supporter and referee for the Crown Point Swim Club and other clubs while his daughter made her way through the local age group swimming ranks. In July of 2016, the swimming community lost Tim to brain cancer. Since then, we have honored Tim by hosting this meet and giving a portion of the proceeds back to the Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation in his honor.
